What burger do you prefer?

I'm thinking Big Mac although it's been ages since I had Burger King (over 15 years). The whopper picture looks better to me but I think I didn't like the sauce as much or something. I forgot. That said, I never liked Big Mac that much either but I think I disliked it less than the whopper.

Now I am wanting to try the whopper again. My tastes have probably changed a bit over so many years. It is difficult to try though since Burger King is not so popular in Japan, but maybe I could try the next time I visit the US. My memory is so fuzzy now but IIRC, the whopper had a pink sauce that tasted more to me like BBQ sauce or ketchup, whereas the Big Mac has a yellow sauce that tastes to me almost like instant cheese/mayo. I think the Big Mac one kind of brought out more of the cheesy kind of taste of the Big Mac over whopper w/cheese, and I often like that kind of cheesy idea... although my memory could be betraying me completely right now.

Big Mac lost its appeal for me years ago , tried one last year and I was nauseous all evening.
Burger King is pretty darn good and very filling

I'm not a fan of McDonald's. So out of those, the whopper although homemade better.
If do go out me and my mom go to Culvers. I like that better

For health reasons, I stopped eating at fast food restaurants, with such junk food. After eating at McDonald's or burger king I feel a little I'll, and regret it. I'm not perfect, but for the most part, I just eat plant based things. Disease can be reduced by 90% if the population converted to a whole food plant based diet.

If I could slightly bend the rules I'd say the whopper with cheese. Strangely the standard whopper doesn't inside cheese. Even though it's not exactly a health food, including cheese is important because it at least has some calcium in it. Calcium is extremely important.
I think overall the flame grilling makes a difference to the taste too.

Honestly, I’m more into plain old hamburgers with mustard. I have food sensitivities and I’m also picky

Of the two I have to vote Big Mac as I’ve had that, but never had a whopper.


I think Burger King burgers are better but McDonald’s chips are better.

in n out double double has always been my fav even though i don't eat burgers too often

FAR better than McD's or BK, for sure! Not my favorite fries, but it's nearly impossible to beat In 'N Out for a chain hamburger.

When I have friends out to visit from other states, they never forget to remind me that a visit to In 'N Out is a top priority...

It's even worse if you've had one of their amazing milkshakes...

You probably already know this, but Quintain Tarantino's "Big Kahuna Burger" was absolutely inspired by In 'N Out. I'm old enough to have owned In 'N Out t-shirts that said "Southern California" from back in the late 80s, when we'd go down to the LA area a couple times a year. Back then, they were SoCal only. Now they're all over California and into a couple other states. I have one 4 miles down the road from me...

Of these two, I'd take the Whopper any time. No contest.

BUT,
Wendy's, Culver's, Cheddars, Red Robin, even Steak and Shake have better burgers than McD or BK.

They are hust a step up from a cheeseburger. Why not try putting on: spinch, arugla, carmelized red onions, marinated shiitake mushrooms, cheddar cheese, blue cheese, gouda, some other type of tomato besides a beefsteak tomato etc
