Which one do you prefer: pancakes or waffles?

I like both, but will take pancakes over waffles. It's hard to butter waffles evenly and to keep parts of them from either being dry or too soggy when pouring syrup. And pancakes are easier to make.
I enjoy pancakes with Irish butter and real maple syrup. My wife often adds blueberries to the pancake mix. Yum.

Both, just different occasions, pancakes are full blown dinner, and waffles are a snack enjoyed with coffee and friends and family.
