It's so cruel and uneccessary. How would YOU feel if YOU were tossed alive into a pot of boiling water? This is nothing but specisim and human supremacy, with complete disregard for the feelings of other living things.

I mean I don’t think they could feel pain. At least not anywhere near how much pain a human feels.

And it isn’t unnecessary either. If you’re eating lobster, it’s dangerous to kill the lobster beforehand. Lobster have bacterias on them and when they die, these rapidly multiply. You could reduce your chances of food poisoning by killing them in the cooking process.

I mean lobster meat also loses quality the longer you keep it in the fridge. In order to get the best quality out of lobster, you should probably prepare it as soon as possible.

I agree with you 100%. They do it to other animals too. Humans at their lowest form. My aunt used to freeze them first thinking it was kinder. I myself haven’t had lobster since before that day. I think I was 3-4.

Cook them not alive. I've seen restaurants/markets sell frozen ones before.

Lobsters don't scream, and I think it's pretty much guaranteed if you're a lobster in the Ocean your death is going to be pretty gruesome there too

“Screaming” from lobsters is just air escaping the shell, not a vocalization. Lobsters are insects. I’m fine with boiling them alive.
