Should you expose the people who catfish?

Obviously you can't do anything if you never meet or they delete and run, but let's say the catfish actually meets you in person or you know the person being catfished, would you make it your business to expose them or at least let the real person know they were being catfished by this person if you knew or could find them?

Man that's a tough situation. On one hand, catfishing is super wack and messing with people's emotions like that ain't cool. The person getting lied to deserves to know the truth.

But publicly calling someone out online or like confronting them aggressive could also cause a bunch of drama and problems. You never know how someone might react when they get busted like that. Things could get real messy real fast.

I'd say if you know for sure who the catfish is and they met the victim in person, it's okay to just give the real person a heads up like "yo I think so and so was lying about who they are, just watch out." Then let them decide if they wanna confront the catfish or expose them to others.

Otherwise, if you can't 100% prove who it is or never met up, might be best to just cut ties and not get involved fully. No use starting beef if you don't got all the facts straight.

Catfishing lame, but gotta be smart handling it so it don't become more drama. Safety first too, you never know how a catfish might act when pulled out their lie. Tread lightly for sure.

Yes, expose the people who catfish. So many people who are being catfished are put up with emotional pain, a lot of anxiety, a lot of depression. Yes, so true and loads of sadness. What was sad is these teens get mixed up with these grown adults and the one girl actually took her own life, so sad I hated watching that program, I like programs that end with a happy ending.
