Do you think WATER has a taste or Flavor?

Water, itself, probably has no taste. I think purified water is bland.
But water from different places tastes different because of dissolved minerals or sediment, and sometimes additives like chlorine or fluoride.
Spring water is usually good.
I'm love the water that I've been drinking for the last 20 years from my deep well that goes through quartz layers. It percolates through the soil and rock layers from the nearby mountains and picks up minerals like calcium and traces of other elements. Years ago, I had it tested for any harmful substances and there were none. To me, it tastes sweet and refreshing.
When I drink water from other places around the country, it tastes different. Some tastes bad.
I don't like buying bottled water. I don't like the plastic and I don't trust the sources. Some of it is simply purified and robbed of its nutrients, and some is actually just municipal water with a misleading label.
Of course it does, you ever drank well water vs chlorinated water?
Every water source has different level of minerals in depending on the ground source or treatment requirements. That's were the taste comes from and this has been true since the beginning of time depending it runs through sand, line stone, fresh snow melt or from a muddy river.

yes, depending on where you are, well water vs treated water can have a different tase due to the minerals it has.
florida would be more sulpher, up north in the iron belt will be more iron.
shallow wells vs deeper wells can make a difference as well.
on a chemical level pure water doesn't have a taste, although it can have a light taste from compounds that are found within it.
the tap water i drink is tasteless but that's what i like about it. it's completely neutral so i don't get bored from it
Yes it does, depending on the minerals it runs through , amount of iron etc.
I know from being in Northumberland, say Birmingham, North Yorkshire, and Highlands of Scotland, different tastes
Oh absoluuuuutely! Water has a wide range of flavours. Have you ever heard of the water sommelier? America's only Water Sommelier
Yes, definitely. Some water tastes better than other water! I'm picky when it comes to what water I will drink. Lol
It definitely has the taste of freshness, but I wouldn’t call that a flavor. In fact I’d say having no flavor and only freshness is what makes it strongly and equally enjoyable for absolutely everyone.
The taste comes from minute amounts of dissolved mineral salts contained in the water, possibly chlorine or other sanitizers, and even ozone.
If you have ever had plain distilled water in a clean cup, it will taste very "flat".
I don't know about a flavor but some water just has a nice refreshing taste and some doesn't
Yes i think it has a taste. I can make an explanation about it like this ; Simple meat try to eat without cooking it. It will be disgusting for you but i you cook it it will be tasty. And the water is like that if you drink it cold it's gonna be tasty if you try to drink it hot it won't be satisfact you. I believe it has taste.
Unless you're pregnant - it doesn't really have a flavour.
Use to love ice cold water, but got hooked on hot black coffee. Weird from ice cold to hot coffee
Sometimes
Yes it does. Different brands taste different. Some are nasty. Some or more refreshing.
Not so much taste, but it's my favourite drink to quench a thirst. Especially ice cold from the fridge.
Yes. Most Waters have a taste because they have many other additives and ingredients but City water definitely taste different than rural side well water
I love ice cold spring water especially from Zephyrhills Google it Florida spring water
If it has a taste or flavour, then it's not just water, there's something else mixed in with it.
You're confused.
Water has no "flavour". What you're "tasting" is the salt and minerals in the water.
yes it does. i mean water basically soaks up every taste. so it's kind of like with tofu. you don't taste itself but whatever is mixed in.
I guess it depends on how pedantic you want to get about it. Water (H20) doesn't have a flavor, but things in it would have a flavor. Dissolved minerals would give the water different flavor.
