This has happened to me 3 times. All, of them with my mom too. 🥺😖

Once because the food was undercooked we just left, second time they lied to me on what came on my dish, lastly my food never came and my mom did. They said that they forgot about me after waiting 30 minutes like I was malding mad 😠

Yup. I almost never dined out back in the US because I f*cking hate tipping and would rather not eat there than give someone way too much money for some stupid bullsh*t I could do myself. But one time, at a dine-in pizza place, they messed up my order several times. The first time, the pizza was charcoal black. An inedible mess.

They expected me to eat it, anyway. I told the manager and he apologized and said the oven was having issues (basically, it was broken; he didn't want to admit that, though). I told him I rarely dined out and I was broke that week, so this was me treating myself and I wasn't going to pay $17 for burnt pizza. The manager had the cook make another pizza (although I'm sure she just recycled the burnt pizza to give to someone else, since I never even touched it).

So I wait another 15-20 minutes. The second pizza was the total opposite of the first; uncooked with raw wet dough. A soggy mess where you could still see the shredded cheese.

I told them the issue again. The cook sighed and huffed and puffed, as if I was being difficult for no reason. I old the manager I wasn't trying to be a Karen, but this was ridiculous. The manager said to wait, as they'd make a third pizza. After ten minutes, I was convinced they forgot about me or was intentionally making me wait. I had spent about 50 minutes in there and was hungry and angry, so I just left. I ended up getting a soggy lame hoagie from Wawa down the street. That weekend sucked.

No. I don’t eat out that often and when I do I’m careful about where I eat out. Unless you’re ones date or maybe traveling, you shouldn’t go out to eat unless you can’t make the meal you’d get by eating there. Too often people eat at low-quality places when they shouldcook at home.

It's happened a few times.

I was in the middle of nowhere and went to a Sizzlers, which I admit was a mistake, and they were very rude.
My food was cold, there was hair in some of it, and the bite I took to discover all of this revealed disgusting flavors.
I then ordered a plate of kids' nuggets, dressed the nuggets in several sauces, left the building, and chucked the nuggets at their large windows. Then I drove to my motel.

I went to a Thai restaurant alone, and the server kept telling me to wait ten minutes, so I did. This went on for an hour and a half, meanwhile, other people with larger parties (2, 3 or 4 people) were seated ahead of me, I assume because the server thought that they would spend more money.
I was finally seated, and I ordered about $200 worth of food. And after appetizers came, I left. I stayed as long as I did to make sure that they actually started working on the order.

Other than that, I have had to wait for extended periods of time for food or service on several occasions, and simply left.

I also went to a takeout restaurant, and the owner/cashier was too rude for me to tolerate, and I just walked away while placing my order, refusing to say another word to him, and I ate across the street. I sat at table that was placed next to a window that faced his business, so that he could see me enjoy my meal.

After writing all of this, I'm wondering if I'm a bit vindictive.

Yes, they served me burnt fries, I kindly told the waiter this and he brought another freshly cooked plate of burnt tasting fries! 😔I figured that they probably fried my fries with the same burned oil they cooked the first batch with... I told the waiter the second time that my fries taste burned and he kindly asked me to order something else so I just ordered mash it tasted like instant mash🤢😣. What a horrible experience especially because I was craving fries 😔. The staff was super friendly though so bless their hearts!.

nope, I usually stick to the good spots that I've known for years so they are guarantee...

and the times we've tried new places or we get invited to places, guess I've lucked out, not terrible experiences as of yet

but also, I don't go to restaurants that much either, so that's a factor of chances

One time. The service was poor, and food so bad that they even messed up the Coca Cola- which was served warm and flat. It was the worst meal in a lifetime of eating.
