Is this food worth $1.80?

Yes it is, if you're poor. I think that's a Banquet TV dinner. The red boxes in the frozen section of Dollar Tree. I used to buy those all the time when I was broke as f*ck. Only a rich snob or pretentious vegan would say it's not worth it. Nobody cares about your upper class "my body is a temple" bullsh*t.
Don't get me wrong; if you can afford to eat better, then do so. But if times are hard, then those are definitely worth it. Michelina's is good too and costs under a dollar; the price of a 2022 can of soda. But the portions are much smaller, so are mostly for poor women who are on a diet. As a man, you'd need to eat at least three of those.

That looks good. Does it tastes good? I wish there are some here in Asia.
But here we always eat real food not product food.
I just bought four fresh chicken thighs at a Publix Supermarket (net weight 1 kilo/2.2#) for $5.59.
I agree with @Agape93 that is probably an outdated price.

When, the 90s? These days most sodas are almost $2 on their own
Yup, and is keto nutrition packed in a great meal. I have a friend I pay twice that to prepackage meals like this for me!
Yeah, even a big institution would be hard pressed to get a bulk price that low.
That's a steal for that price.
