What's your go to Potluck contribution?

I think just about everyone has been invited to a Potluck before.

For those who don't know what a potluck is, it's where everyone brings a dish to share.

I usually make a dessert, such as chocolate covered strawberries or my walnut shortbread cookies.

What is your go to Potluck contribution?

Beer.

I once had a college class where towards the end of the term we had a pot-luck at the instructors place. There were 6 guys, 6 girls in the class.

5 of the guys brought beer as their contribution. I think the other guy was gay.

One time I spent hours making pierogies by hand to impress the office. Only for the job to go to shit mere months later.

Next job I ordered 25 cheese burgers from McDonald's and they went over just as well lol 0 effort

For a cultural feast, I like to bring eggplant marinated in pork and spices. For a western feast, I like to bring mashed potatoes or flavoured pop corn or nachos and dip.

Yes I either bring a mango float for dessert which is always a hit or pancit!

Sounds similar to a buffet. Normally you say what your bringing in advance or pick someone off a list so you don't get 20 plates of cheese and pineapple on cocktail sticks.
I usually try and do the scotch eggs

@bean2kuk. Make sausage meat, roll around a boiled egg, roll in bread crumbs and deep fry.

Corn casserole. It's cheap, uber easy, it compliments almost anything, and you can mix it in the same dish you bake it in so there's minimal cleanup. Plus it always gets rave reviews.

I make macaroni black eye peas hamburger mix it with barbeque sauce ketchup and spices onions garlic its cheap you can make a lot fast
