I think he’d be alright with it. I’d cook him a top sirloin steak the way he makes it in a YouTube video, haha. So he’d probably have some corrections, but I think I could make it somewhat satisfactorily. Just would have to be careful not to overcook it.

I doubt very seriously that ole Gordon eats a fancy meal 24/7. If I were to have him over for a meal I would expect him to respect me and my home better than to turn up his nose while sitting at my table. If he did I would show him my door with extreme prejudice.

He probably would not like, my cooking as I use old recipes, Cumberland Tattie Pot done with Herdwick Hogget/Mutton, cooked long and low scalloped potatoes on the top with pickled red cabbage on the side, or a Cumberland Sausage breakfast, foot and a half of Cumberland sausage, three fried eggs, grilled mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, Fried thick sliced bread, and maybe a slice or two of fried black pudding.
