So I decided to cook him a meal, I bought him some glenfiddich scotch a card abd stayed the night. Anyways he really enjoyed it. Despite it taking so long. We had lamb shanks cooked in a tamarind paste with potatoes dauphinoise... I wanted to do a fusion meal since we are a fusion couple (interracial) it was just my way of trying to show that blending works like we do. It doesn't look the best but I did taste amazing the lamb was falling off the bone and everything. 😊 Even doggy was desperate to try it after hours of smelling it. Unfortunately he does have an oven to clean. But that's his fault I did ask him to put the potatoes in as it was so heavy...

No, I've never had anyone cooking a meal for me on my birthday. But it's nice that you did it for him and that you had a good time.
Is that not a good thing to say? I was catering to both of our loves and appreciation for food. He's English and loves Caribbean and Indian food but he also loves potatoes lol. I also like these things. So it made perfect sense since sometimes when curry dishes are hot it's recommended that you have milk or yogurt to cool it down.

No, my birthday is usually ignored because there's a religious birthday close to mine that my family prefers to celebrate. Also Christmas is close too. Nothing really happens on my bday lmao

Yes. An ex-boyfriend of mine was a culinary arts major and he often made my favorite dishes on birthdays and other special occasions. I kind of miss that.
No, never. I cook for others' birthdays and if someone comes for my birthday I have to cook for them too. One reason I don't celebrate it, I have to do all the work on my birthday too.
