Are cheese and crackers just for Christmas?

I like cheese and regularly have it with some crusty bread. But magically time of year it starts appearing on crackers everywhere. now you can buy both all year round but normally crackers are hidden away on an obscure shelf. Come Christmas and the supermarkets move them to a prime location.

I don't think I've ever eaten cheese and crackers at any other time of year.

I guess people buy them to serve as hors d'oeuvres at holiday gatherings.

I like (good) cheese but rarely eat it with crackers. One of my favorite picnic lunches is good cheese, baguette, fruit, and wine. It's mostly a summer time thing. Every once in a while, my wife and I will have that for dinner when we are at home watching a movie.

My brother literally took cheese and crackers as his school lunch 4-5 days a week throughout his entire education, and still eats them several times a week at home. He's "leaned in" to it far more than most people...

No they are a yearly thing.

Bur I'm not big on crackers. So i rather have grapes and cheese.

"Crackers love cheese" huh? Well, that's not the whole truth. We actually love cheese that's made by the loving hands of an unpaid workforce.

They're year round but like everything else, somehow cheese and crackers have become another part of the commercialization of Christmas.

That's one of my favorite snacks. I eat that all the time. It goes nicely with booze.
