    It depends.

What are his finances like? If he is struggling financially, no. If he's very well off, sure.

If a man is willing to spend a lot of money on a woman he just met, he should have excessive amounts of money to spend OR be really interested in the womans personality & character. If a man without plenty of money is willing to pay for an expensive meal for a woman he just met, he's desperate. Don't go for desperate guys. Make sure he likes you and has had a chance to develop an interest in your personality.

When dating, what kind of meal one picks can say a lot or even throw red flags. For example, offering to get a cheaper meal shows you care about him and even his financial stability, but if he says "you're more than welcome to order something a little more expensive than that." Shows he is ok with it; where if you go to ordering only the most expensive stuff on the menu it can give off red flags of you are anly there to use him for his money and/or a free expensive fancy meal. Ordering a reasonable priced meal that even you yourself were ok paying for, also shows maturity and consideration... so it honestly comes down to the vibe you want to put off, and consent.

Are you going to have wild sex with him afterwards? If No then No.

Look. He didn't ask you out because he like the food (okay, I would but I would just eat alone). He asks you out because he wants to have sex with you.

You gets to decide if you want to or not. If you already decided you don't want to then there is no point in having dinner with him because you would simply manipulating him.

Now if you are thinking around yes to maybe then it's up to you to let him play his little role while you just enjoy it and let him believe he is doing something impressive and you will return the honors by getting in bed with him.

Yes and no. It's nice once a while to be treated and it's probably feels nice for him to feel as if he can make his women feel special and treat her too but you don't want him getting the wrong idea but he has you by his wallet and is intitled to something back because he bought you dinner.

If he offers yes, but I wouldn't expect it from him. Offer to pay for your part and see how he responds, if he wants to pay, he'll tell you.

And ignore the idiots who imply or tell you that anything sexual is owed if you do let him pay, that is complete and utter BS

I’ll say this, any man that will take a date to an expensive restaurant before they have become super close and are exclusive is a dumbass. Never take a girl to an expensive meal on the first or even 20th date. She has to earn that honor. I always like to do coffee, a picnic or somewhere super inexpensive and causal. If the woman has a problem with that, it’s automatically a red flag and she isn’t worth my time or effort or money.

Depends on your long term goals and information you detect concerning his values up to and including the end of that particular date. If you get that far without a clue, pay your own way and don’t date until you can get over yourself. Ell oh ell!

This is why I don't have a girlfriend. Unless they're invited to some fancy restaurant by us as date 1 and pay for it we can go home and watch porn.

Whatever happened to strolls in the malls? Walk in the park? Just meeting up? Going to free events and festivals? Getting to know each other without having to put a huge dent to the banks balance? I don't live with mommy and daddy for a long time now, so.

Did you invite him? so you should pay or at least try to do so
Dose he insist? can you afford it? can they afford it?

Why not? Are you afraid he might be expecting you to pay him back... intimately? A true gdngkrman would never expect that.

If he's the one who asked to take you there, you shouldn't even bring up the idea of sharing the cost. And if he expects you to in the end, pick yourself up and say good night.

Only IF you offer to pay. If he's doing it for intrinsic reasons, let him pay.

If he's offering then that's fine. As long as he's NOT expecting anything but gratitude in return.
