Guy pays for your meal?

i and this guy just had lunch alone because nobody could come(We normally hang out in group)At the end, he paid for all even though I gave him my credit card. He refused it. The conversation was just casual. He said that I could treat him next time.Btw, this is the second time that he paid for me. The first time, I jokingly said to him that I didn't have money(because it was my way to refuse him politely). Finally I went with him and eventually, he paid for meal. Is it normal for guy friend to pay for you? I don't have many guy friends.

i drove him to have lunch at his friend's restaurant and to get his car on that day. We just came back from the party at my friend's house.

No, a guy will consistently pay when he's interested in you. He'll go out of his way to grab the check, to take you to his friend's place so you see the type of people he knows (who can help him spoil and pamper you).

I have guy friends, and unless they see that you're going through some major emotional thing and tell you, "I've got this one" in a show of brotherly support, they won't go paying for stuff on a regular basis that way.

I always pay for my guy friends. They're so f***ing lazy..

But, sometimes they do pay for me.. It doesn't really mean anything though.. Because we're just friends.

na not really although we are not all the same he could have seen this as a way to return a favor or he thinks you're cool and enjoys your company. That's always a good thing but in a situation like this its better to ride it out and see where it goes, its always cool to have a new buddy to hang and eat with
