m Yes actually a homegrown vegetable. We found near our pumpkins. To this day we still dont know what exactly it was. It looked like a Zuchini but as big as a pumpkin tasted mostly like a pumpkin except the consistency was more like an eggplant. We survived and it didn't even taste bad. Two years later now and we never found another one. If it would have closely looked like the pumpkins we have, we would have thought it was just an unripe one or that it didn't have enough water, sun or was missing something, but it looked completly different from the pumpkins. Our most fitting speculation is still that somehow a cucumber or zuchini fused with the pumpkin plants and made this thing. No idea how that is biological possible but we dont have any better idea.
For a few or several years we would spontaneously get orange plants in my house and it was more than we had time to eat and even when gifting some of the vegetables to neighbours, we had more than we could eat. What finally happened was the vegetables stopped spontaneously growing so we ate left overs from previous years. It’s a hybrid type of gigantic squash with no known English name due to being a new breed of vegetable.
Whereas a cucumber is designed to be used for easy penetration during solo or partner play, bigger or oddly shaped fruits require some imagination. Take the apple for example. You may be tempted to thrust it into your slave's anus. But neigh, putting an apple in a slave's mouth can be a symbol of prosperity and good fortune. The slave is a symbol of wealth and abundance, and the apple is a symbol of fruitfulness and good health. Together, the slave and apple symbolize the hope for a bountiful harvest, a prosperous future, and a well-fed and contented slave community. As an added bonus, it prevents the slave from back-talking.
Sometimes the problems are just practical. For instance a big pumpkin I cultivated in my garden. Damn big thing... I solved the problem by cutting patiently the whole vegetable in small pieces and cooking with other mixed vegetables and spices. Then I divided the prepared mix in a number of boxes to be put in the freezer.
Some time ago I bought out of curiosity a plain celeriac. Seems silly, but I still did not find a convincing way of preparing that vegetable. Ultimately I cut the celeriac into small pieces and mixed it with spices and other vegetables, which produced a mix having an extra nice taste and smell.

Some things must be prepared in a certain way to be edible, let alone tasty. I confirmed this by trying to eat a raw potato once. This is part of the reason that i don’t try new foods at home very often. I’ll try new stuff in restaurants all the time, but if’n i don’t know how to prepare it myself, i’m not even gonna try.
When I was in highschool, my mum gave me this fruit. I looked at it and it in turn looked at me.

No, but I'm NOT an adventurous eater (which is another way of saying that I'm picky as hell about my food), so I only buy what I know that I like, and I rarely accept meal offers or go to restaurants if I'm not sure I'll find something I want to eat there.
As I did, I was forced to eat things I didn't want, and I hated it, and ever since then, I refuse to be made to eat food that I don't want, or even be pressured to do so. Maybe that makes me an asshole, but I just don't care.
While in Hong Kong, I visited a Chinese market that had lots of fruits and vegetables I'd never seen before. Fortunately, the local Chinese person explained what they were and how to cook and/or eat them. I took some fruits back to my hotel room to eat... no Durians though, they stink so much that they are not allowed in hotels.
Yeah, when I was flying to Taiwan, the airline served me some fruit, I no idea what it was, but it was delicious so I ate it anyways. Two of them actually.

Dragon fruit isn't something often found in Scottish supermarkets. But it's horrible if eaten under ripe.
