Have you ever tried candied hawthorn berry?

They sold it in China for many years but until around a decade ago, it was almost never sold in Canada. Now we eat it every year, my dad bought some from the grocery store today.

Some people in the uk use them in jams, jellies and wines but I've never heard of anyone candying them.
