Radish. The only root that I dislike in a salad is this. I can adjust to virtually anything. Cucumbers, Coriander, Beetroot, Corn, Guava, Papaya, Apples (all colours), and whatever else. Onions are acceptable, but when coupled with some curry kind of food.
I am a vegetarian, so no non-veg. But I like the onion rings you see in restaurants. They give you just what you expect. The taste. Nothing unwanted like the tears and all.
The onions that have been soaked in vinegar?
I never experienced those. Maybe someday I will.
I like raw onions and dislike tofu, I like a mix of greens including iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, arugula and baby spinach, with tomatoes, onions and sliced hard boiled eggs. With either thousand island or roka dressing.
You can give me your grilled tofu, I love it!
I usually don't like bacon, raw mushrooms, or olives in my salads. Sometimes I do not like raw onion. I tend to like anything else in my salad though. But I like grilled poultry or shrimp on my salads for meat-wise. I once had a grilled salmon salad at Logan's roadhouse before they changed their menu, and it was the best salmon I've ever had.
I love salads!
My favorite are the Greek style salads - romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, peprocinni (sp?) Peppers, feta cheese - and I don't mind some red onion. I like it sprinkled with oregano and a Greek dressing for dipping on the side. 🙂

At salad bars, my ideal salad is romaine lettuce, some spinach and red cabbage, peas, kidney beans, sliced eggs, a few small broccoli florets, a slice or two of cucumber and radish, 1000 island dressing, a couple of pepperoncinis, and croutons.
No onions on salad. And never, ever olives. Nothing tastes worse to me than olives.
I like many different types of salads, and each has their specific ingredients. I tend to dislike the popular "Asian salads" seen in restaurants. I like Chef salads but not the hard boiled egg. I like Cobb, Caesar, Endive, Iceberg Wedge, Butter lettuce, Arugula salads with all their specific ingredients. No fresh tofu please, especially cold.
Hold the radishes and any kind of fruit or nut.
Give me tomatoes, olives, mushrooms, pickled artichoke hearts, gardineria, and meats and cheeses.
For some reason I really don't like croutons in my salads. Raw onion is a close second, you're right!
Love: Red onions and feta cheese.
Hate: Olives.

Smell Feta cheese and tell me you think otherwise.
I like cranberries or raisins added to it.
My fav salad is a tuna mayo salad. It tastes pretty good and masks the taste of veggies in it.
