Trending & News Yes! It was an abomination when that trick took out all the good vending machines and replaced them with diet foods 😂 This isn't even a matter of politics, i just dont care for that former first lady mainly for that one change she made 🤣 I feel that parents can be in control of their kids eating habits at home but school is that little taste of freedom. Why should the gov take away vending machines if they’re just gonna build more fast food restaurants? It makes no sense. There are more McDonalds in one city then there will ever be unhealthy vending machines in school
I remember when I was in middle school, they switched prairie farms milk with trumoo for a little while.
@PBandJ_Nerd i dont drink milk so im unaware of the difference lol
@nawtee_me in 7th grade we had the option to change clothes for PE since it was our first class of the day (pretty dumb because no one felt like running around at 8am).
Trumoo is suppose to be healthier for kids. Not many people liked it, but I don't think it was as bad.
I'm not opposed to them being in high schools and colleges, as long as the machines dispense healthier alternatives as well as sodas. At some point, students need to start making choices.
What do you think happens if they don't? I can tell you from been a teen myself like the rest of you we go buy cheap energy drinks and soda anyway to bring in. It's not something ya can stop.
Schools logic here is dumb you can buy pop at school which is weird branded stuff which in their eyes is "Healthy" though it don't take a smart one to figure out they are not really different. But you can't bring in pop and drink other pop. Though we all did anyway lol.
I never hear people say pop for soda so at first I read buy poop lol
When I was in school, we had a vending machine that had these carbonated juices called Switch.
they weren’t as unhealthy as real soda and they tasted pretty good! So I think all schools should provide something similar
I’ve never tried it.

We had soda vending machines in high school. Childhood obesity was unusual. Of course, getting a soda from the vending machine was an occasional treat and a can was often shared with a close friend. Kids didn't drink multiple cans a day.
The parents would also take turns bringing a cooler full of sodas to sporting events and we'd each get one after a game. Like I said, it was a treat and not part of our regular diet.
I really think the issue is gluttony.
There are no redeeming qualities in "soda", diet or otherwise. In FACT, and science has proven this, diet sodas make you crave sugar even more! There's no nutritional benefits whatsoever in any typical soda product, and I see no reason to sell them in schools.
i think the option is good to have. i would not caryy pepsi or coke but an alternative would be cool. if you offer an alternative someone is going to try it. and it will catch on as long as it's a good tasting drink
Although I can understand as well the commercial aspect as the taste many young people have for sodas, keep in mind it's poison for the body and mind. All in all, if you're thirsty, there's always plain water ;0)
I think it is not a great idea but I am not really against it. I am really against the energy drinks however. That shit is the worst stuff you can drink.
They had them and candy machines when I was in middle and high school.
Same but they barely worked so they just took my money like 50 percent of the time.
When I had PE we got dressed for it then had the option to sit and talk or play basketball. The grade was remembering g your PE outfit to change into
I don't think they should. All that sugar is not healthy.
No. Kids these days are the size of vending machines.
Where I live, we had snack and drink machines in schools.
Yeah, school food is disgusting. Let them have some chips and soda
They had it when I was in Jr high and high school. If they don't get soda in school they will leave school grounds to get it
No, we don't need to be cowtowing to Big Soda, and creating a new generation of diabetic children!
In high school probably I don’t see why not
I don't care. if kids are going to bring it from home might as well.
Should you stop generalizing everything!
No! Haha
No, they should not.
Why not? It’s just soda. You don’t have to ban something just because it has sugar.
Soda isn’t really good for you.
Helps students to become happy in school. They will become depressed if we take away junk food and drinks from them.
Yes of course the should
Yes, absolutely.
Schools always had vending machines where I live.
nooo
