What are your favorite types of rice?

I like Japanese white rice, it tastes like plan white rice but tastes cleaner and purer. I also like the rice Indian people eat, I do not know how they flavour it but I had a woman serve me Indian rice when I visited her daughter as a 6 year old.

Those both sound good. I've never had them before. I like the sticky/sushi rice though.

I like fried rice from Asian stores. They used to have a very good restaurant by my house that served it but they shut down.

long grain rice. Overcooked in milk it makes milk rice I enjoy sometimes with apple sauce, sweet cream and cinnamon. I don't like rice as side dish. Students from East Asian countries complain about our rice despite it's same American rice sorts like they are sold in other EU countries. They are eating buckwhea instead or relatives send them rice from Asia.

It depends on the dish, but for overall flavour I like brown rice, wild rice and basmati, followed by jasmine and several other kinds of rice.

Brown rice is just as good. I used to think it was a bit bitter tasting but it's not.

I like white rice and yellow rice. With white rice you can add gravy and I love gravy and yellow rice the flavor is french kiss

I've had: White rice, brown rice, long grain rice, wild rice, chicken rice, beef rice, broccoli & cheddar rice, rice pilaf, Spanish rice, fried rice, mexican rice, and lime rice. Others would be cauliflower rice.

Last time I had rice was from panda express. I made sure I ate all of it. Brown rice is nice. I love cheddar broccoli rice because it reminds me of mac & cheese.

I am not a connoisseur of rice so I honestly couldn't tell you the difference. I just know we buy both. I make steamed rice often (that's my favorite) and my wife will often make fried rice.

Anyway, we often have both in the house or I'll buy based on price. The basmati tends to be less expensive.

Chinese pork fried rice

I tend to like chicken fried rice myself. I used to like pork when I was younger but now, I hate it. lol I tried eating rice & pork chops, didn't work. Prefer rice & chicken or turkey breasts in a pork chop style instead.

That’s good to. It’s to bad you don’t like pork fried rice. It’s pretty good with it. The little pork is like a dime size but cube style design. Comes inside the rice. It’s not like pork chops real big

Yeah. part of me wishes I still did like pork, but younger past me probably would love it. But I'm fine with not liking it anymore since there's always something new I'll find to like. Shrimp fried rice I'd probably like.
