If alcohol is bad for us why do we drink it?

It's only bad if you drink it constantly. Some people drink it so much, their liver fails on them. It is good for anxiety and heart conditions. My doctor told me a glass of wine or one beer a day will keep my blood pressure down.

My anxiety is really high though. I think a lot of people drink alcohol to feel less anxious or to drown out the world.

If the world ever becomes too much for me, I'm becoming an alcoholic for sure!

There are so many things that are bad for us but we consume them. Smoking is bad but people smoke. Drugs are bad but people use them. Raw fish is bad but people eat it. Doctors prescribe medicine that causes other problems.

Even bread becomes toxic and will kill you over time, if you eat too much of it and too often.

Most people seem to drink it for social reasons and ignore the health risks.

Once you start out of stress/peer pressure etc, the chemicals in it make you addictive. (Nicotine, heroine...)

A lot of it's called self medicating when you drink a lot of alcohol. Lot of stress anxiety created by the bosshole
