I think if tipping discussion goes any further in USA with food prices inflation that is currently out of any control. Waiters and people who deliver food should start to wear ballistic protection in their work hours.

It depends on where. Servers and delivery people should be tipped. But I go to say Starbucks and order a coffee, the tipping requests like that are getting out of control.

Tips are earned. If I get good reliable service, I have no problem tipping above 20%. But if service is poor, then don't expect a tip. I don't believe in tipping because it's the nice thing to do.
