When at home, do you usually put ice cream in a bowl or eat it straight out of the carton?

However the ladies in the house are quite a bit more "intense" about their IC, so often seen eating out of the container... even if it's one scoop.

It's the opposite at our house. My wife always eats out of a bowl, even it it's only a scoop or two. I don't like dirtying dishes, so I eat straight out of the carton. My wife think that is uncivilized. LOL

We don't like the same flavors, so she doesn't have to worry about eating ice cream from which I have eaten out of the carton. Just like how she doesn't drink milk, so I can drink mine straight out of the carton. LOL

I use a small glass if I get it out of a bigger container. If it's a small one, I just eat it out of the pail itself.

Yeah, I usually prefer the 14-16 oz size as opposed to gallons.

I'm thinking of getting Walmart's small pails of ice cream sometime. I want to try the root beer float ice cream and their unicorn one. Other than that, chocolate maltshake and moosetracks are delicious!

I buy the 1/2 gal. Size of Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and put it in a bowl. Then I go foraging for the chunks of cookie dough, so it's like my own little treasure hunt.

I usually eat popsicles instead of ice cream and I put a bowl under it to catch any drops or flakes that might fall from my food down but I eat it on a stick.

if i bought a tub i certainly wouldn't eat straight out of it unless it was a pint. i stick to ice cream bars. double dipping is a concern for me even if it's my own germs

Depends on the size of the carton. A pint I would eat out of the carton. Anything bigger I'd use a bowl.
