We don't really have those here and it's too rich for my tastes.

I don't really go in for 'sweets' but if i were going to i would go for something like a raspberry strudel with chilled custard.

The whole brownie thing its particularly appealing to me because it although there is obviously going to be variation it generally seems to be kind of quantity over quality and if I am going to have cake at all I want it to be really nice cake.

When you make cake correctly it is the event, you don't need to use it as a vehicle to ship in outside crap.

@OctopusEars I very rarely have any cake at all. I don't not eat frosted cake but whether it is frosted or not isn't what matters to me, the quality, if anything, is what i would be looking for and when you quality cake you don't NEED anything other than the cake.

The pictures above show things like hundreds and thousands or whatever you call them, coloured piece of sugar, these are not a high end cake topping they are colourful and the purpose is to appeal to children.
