Three-quart "gallons"? What's next?

Ever since a particular coffee brand gave us the "13-ounce pound" of "concentrated" coffee (knowing that - by habit- we would likely use about the same amount in our coffee scoops anyway), packages have been shrinking and the prices have still been rising. Now we have 96 ounce bottles of milk (3/4 of a gallon), but in artistic plastic "decanter" bottles. Quart (32 ounce) bottles of pure lemon juice at the "dollar store" are now 500 ml (about 17.6 ounces) are now $1.25 at the same store, or about 227% of the original cost on a per-ounce basis. What's next?

Same price (or more) for 25% less milk. MOOOOOOO!

It's as bad as it will get. We've hit the bottom on value. It couldn't get any worse.
It will continue to get worse, but at a slower rate.
This is only the beginning. Things will get a lot worse, a lot more quickly.
