What is your favourite thing to cook?

I'm visiting my boyfriend soon and want to try and cook something new, so let me know your favourites!

(I make it a goal to always cook when I'm at his, as I love cooking but I live with my mum and she isn't a fan of me constantly pottering about in the kitchen lol.)

Currently, I am thinking of

A carbonara, Katsu Curry, chorizo pasta an macaroni cheese. They are all fairly simple though.

Also we usually cook a heart pizza together lol, I know italians would cry at the sight of it, but we never claimed to be professional and it does taste good!

I'd recommend a homemade mushroom sauce. It's not difficult to make but it presents really well, it looks and tastes like you're a chef, and pairs well with different things.

You can do egg noodles with it, chicken, or (my recommendation) a beef roast.
