I like to cook. I like to cook Lasagna. I also enjoy baking cookies from scratch. What is your favorite thing or things to cook?

I love to cook, I started by baking cookies and cakes from scratch when I was about 9 or 10 then at 12 I made my first batch of bread from scratch as I grew older I started cooking more and baking less. I still bake from time to time but mostly I just cook savory dishes. I like doing a proper Sunday dinner but not necessarily on Sunday, a roasted prime rib roast with potatoes and onions roasted around the roast. Carrots and parsnips as additional veggies. I make a rich beefy flavored gravy to pour over the potatoes, onions and veggies. Fresh horseradish with the meat and mop up some gravy with a forkful of meat. It's so yummy. I like to also bbq steak and baked potatoes with dome winter squash from my garden, make a delicious oven baked Mac n cheese with a rich creamy extra old sharp cheddar sauce and top the dish with buttered bread crumbs before baking it in the oven. I too love to make lasagna with homemade pasta and a homemade marinara sauce made with home grown tomatoes. I use my homemade Italian sausage meat in the meat sauce and use lots of mozzarella, Romano Pecorino & Parmigiano Reggiano cheese on every layer. There's so many dishes I love to make I couldn't possibly list then all here.

I like making my breakfast sandwiches: a bagel, egg, cheese, and bacon (except during Lent... meatless...).

I'd say I like to grill more than cook though. I make great steaks.
