People whom cannot "recheck the coffee lid" should not drink coffee?

McDonalds being sued again for a coffee lid not well attached and hot coffee which burned the customer.

In my thought process, if the coffee is in your possession, you are responsible for the coffee... appropriate time to drink the coffee based upon temperature, and ensuring the lid is attached or removed.

Warming, contents are boiling hot.

Yes - I am responsible with hot drinks

No - whomever hands you the coffee is responsible and whomever behind them has the $

Other - all cups should have a warming label

Had a small business and 3 people tried to sue me for fake things but the money to fight it bankrupt my small business!

But really I'd just make all the coffee colder it does not need to be sculding cause of these boobs...

sad to hear that. Can't stand people like that that destroy others for their selfishness. disgusting. and it doesn't take many of them to wreck society. it's one of the reasons everything is so expensive. I saw this brewing decades ago...

It was interesting to find out that the previous time, it was actually found that mcdonalds was frequently brewing their coffee over the specified temperature approved by the food standards. Look up a "not frivilous lawsuits" covered by legal eagle on youtube if you fancy a watch.

easy solution, don't buy their products, complain to management, etc..

I wonder if McDonalds still sells the apple pies? People used to burn their mouth on them they were so hot. There was a warning in the little box they came in

They do still have them. Me & my bestie were warned before being handed our pies that they were hot as they just came out (we were saving them for later so it wouldn't have mattered to us).
