Buttermilk marinade removes specific taste from rabbit or lamb or male deer when they are already too old for consume.
However I doubt you can buy real buttermilk in grocery today that doesn't contain ascorbic acid as preservation. Even small amount of ascorbic acid makes meat dry and fibrous.
It kind of tastes like the dark meat of a chicken. I had some rabbit tacos in Seattle, and I wasn't impressed. Fresh tuna tastes a lot like the white meat of chicken.
Sure cooking in chicken broth and put some chicken seasoning on it
