Why is old hamburger so nasty but steak is not?

I think it is the other way around. Leftover steak is trash. Do you mean just the meat patty? If you heat up a hamburger with everything on it, it is obviously going to be gross. Veggies and condiments change texture and taste after being heated, cooled and reheated. I'd still take a left over hamburger over left over steak.

The meat is NASTY when left out. It’s good when it comes off the stove. Steak doenst taste that bad

Ground hamburger meatbhas far more bacteria in it then steak does thus as it gets older, hamburger meat tends to rot quicker then solid steak meat.

Yeah. I’ve taken a bite of hamburger I left for like 30 minutes and wanted to throw up. A McDonalds burger can sit out for longer.
