Do you discard the delightfully doughy disseminator at each mealtime or do you savour every succulent slice of scrumptious sustenance, including the sumptuous starting segment known as the startled sandwich slice starter? In other words, are you a crustless connoisseur who prefers their sandwiches sans slices de pain, or do you relish every bite, including the mouthwateringly memorable margins of every magnificent loaf? Personally, I fall into the latter category. After all, why toss away such tempting treats when they can add texture, taste, and toothsome thrills to every toastier treat? So let us raise our glasses (and our bread) high in celebration of the glorious golden garnishes that grace each and every grilled cheese! Long live the lovably leavened lavors of life! And may the crunchy corners forever reign supreme over those who dare to despise them! Hail hail, to the mighty marginals! May thy deliciousness never cease to bring us boundless bread-based bliss!
Phew, that was quite a mouthful. But now, let us celebrate the beauty and variety of such nomenclature by conjuring up some new and inventive monikers that will make even the most seasoned lover blush with pride! How about the Thunderbolt of Titillation, the Love Lightning Bolt, the Orgasmic Outcropping, or the Passionate Perineal Protrusion? These names have a certain ring to them, don't you think? Imagine the look on your partner's face as you reveal your new handle during a steamy session beneath the sheets. But enough talk of love handles and lingam labels.

As for the end slice of bread it’s called the HEEL & yes I do eat it as well.
No, the heel (or end slice, as apparently some call it) goes in the trash can. If I can get away with it I will pull off all the crusts from my slices of bread... unless I'm using it to make a grilled cheese then I don't have an issue with the crusts. But the heel always goes in the trash. Yuck!
Thanks for the MHO!
I grew up eating nothing but bread some days.
I rarely eat bread these days,
But once upon a time, the end slice of bread was my and my brother’s favorite part of the bread.
I am now telling this because that part of my life is so back in the past, it no longer feels like it’s my story.

Yeah. Not sure about anyone else, but it's my favorite part of the bread.
Yes, especially if it's a homemade loaf or fresh bought loaf of Italian bread from the local bakery. I cut that crust off thick add lots of cold butter and enjoy.
I don't like to waste food so someone will eat it.. me or one of the family lol
best part of the whole loaf.
I wait until I have both of them and then make a sandwich with them.
Life is good.
Yes. In bread loaf that wasn't baked in a baking form, it's the best part.
Sure, I don't waste it. I usually make a simple sandwich out of the two end slices.
No. I throw it in the back yard and let the birds have it
Usually as toast with peanut butter or jam or both
I enjoy the end slice.
I don't want to waste food.
Yes, but it's the last to go.
One slice= pizza.
absolutely yes... that's my favorite part
I make toast out of it.
Yes, because I'm insane in the membrane. ;D
I give it to my dog.
