When you want to eat a sandwich and all that’s left are the end pieces of a loaf of bread will you still eat it?

That is the best piece of the bread, you dope.
Toast it and slather the cut end with butter, cream cheese, cucumber, extra mature cheddar, hot caramelised onion, chopped tomato and some Nando sauce. You've got yourself an open sandwich that would make even Trump go sane.
Because it's thicker and crustier, you can put a lot more on the bread without it "flopping".
I remember in my teens and twenties I would throw away the end pieces before giving them a chance. That now I do eat them to not waste them. It’s not so bad but a little bit better for certain meals.
They're the best bits, why wouldn't I? Sometimes I fish out the end from the bottom of the bag so I have both.

You know I used to not eat it, but now I do, and we need to start showing some love and care to the end of the bread.
I'll take a knife i slice off the end part if i can
I like the ends. They are usually the best for toast and Nutella since they end up being crunchy
The crusts nice straight from the oven but it's not sandwich material
i like the end pieces because they are thicker so less stuff can flop out but only whole grain bread
If that is all that is left I will use it to make a sandwich.
Absolutely not. It be dry af
