Which hand do you hold the fork with, and which hand do you hold the knife with while eating using both the fork and the knife?

Fork in left hand, with or without knife. However, if I use only a knife, say if I’m cutting cake or pie, I’ll use it with my left hand. For me, randomly placed cuts in food for immediate consumption is a simple linear action that doesn’t require much coordination, so I pass that task off to my non-dominant hand.

Wonder why we say knife n fork rather than fork n knife

Both I swap around. There is not correct way. I do use the spoon in my left hand though.
