Would you go vegetarian if the world outlawed beef production?

There would obviously be black market beef, but let’s say pollution got so bad, that industrial beef production was outlawed everywhere. Could you make the switch?

Well, there's chicken. That said, vegetarianism would require more effort for what I want, and I've gone so for weeks at a time before. Low-temp boiling cheese in about 1 gallon of water per pound.
