I see no reason to. Humans evolved as omnivores. I do avoid meat from factory farms, though. And I avoid GMOs and foods that have been treated with agricultural chemicals or hormones.
My favorite meat is seafood, especially shellfish.
I get my chicken, lamb and beef from local producers who give their animals very good lives. There are exceptions when I get proscuitto, good quality bacon or baked ham, though. And I do love authentic BBQ, especially baby back ribs. I even love escargot.
I get organic eggs from people who treat their chickens like pets. We have two different friends who give them to us for free.
I love good, traditional cheeses.
I like authentic foods. I avoid stuff that's processed in factories and God knows what goes into fake meat substitutes. Plus, the fat in real meat tastes delicious and is good for you in small quantities.
I think it's dangerous to eat too much soy but fermented soy products are less bad in high quantities. And one of the problems with soy is the chemicals that are used in agriculture.
Aside from being great sources of nutrition, domesticated animals are fantastic in organic farming, permaculture, building healthy soil, and even restoring damaged habitats if managed correctly.
I don't eat lots of meat every day. But animal protein does feel essential to my own metabolism.

I’ve been vegetarian for about 4 years now and have been making an effort to go vegan this past year. Cheese is definitely way more difficult to give up than meat. I’ve had to learn some meals, which I’d be happy to share, that provide enough protein and are filling enough to satisfy me.
I usally avoid cheese even though I used to love it and now I don't even really miss it. I do it because it is healthier this way and I'm a little intolerant (wind 🤭) ...
I'm not a big meat eater. Some types of Fish is my favorite and I like small amounts of chicken and a fee sea foods. I never eat with the bone. I avoid processed meats, sausages and don't like pork or red meat. Lucky me that I actually Don't like it so it is easy to avoid.
Some foods aren't the same without meat. I say this even though I don't eat it regularly. I wouldn't go vegan because I believe some things in moderation are beneficial.
I also would only buy meat from companies with certain practices.
I would like to go vegetarian. Mostly because I’m against the mistreatment that animals face in things like slaughterhouses so it’s really hard for me to eat them now that I know how they were probably created. My mom is a peskitarian due to health risks she has so I’ve tried stuff like beyond burger before and they taste amazing !
I’m not sure how it would work though because the tricky part is I’m a very picky eater. I wish I wasn’t that way but I’m very selective when it comes to the way my foods cooked, the way it looks, the texture of the food, the color of the food, etc.

Nah lol. I love dairy too much. I can and have gone without meat without a problem. And as much as my body hates dairy, I can't give it up lol. So I could probably be a vegetarian, but never a vegan.
i've been vegetarian before so it wouldn't be too hard for me. i do like eggs and it's hard to get the dairy/egg part down for me. daiya cheese is amazing.
the problem for me is that it's hard to cook for a vegan. so i wasn't very good at getting all of the nutrients through eating or supplementing. i should try again now that the world is so vegan friendlyTbh, as someone who is mostly plant based, I've had vegan burgers, and wondered if they'd made a mistake and it was actually a meat burger. And I gave it to my meat eating mate to try and he wasn't sure either.
Vegan foods, or indeed my food, often tastes much better. It's more satisfying, it sustains you better, it doesn't just give you a quick fix, it makes you feel healthy, you can taste it's full of life.
The two things I'd say is,
People run into problems because they eat a lot of processed shit.
And I do like at least a little animal product in a week. It helps keep me sane and gives me that intangible something that is just missing from a wholly vegan diet.Let me put it this way
If I'm trapped on a secluded island without any way to escape and the only two things to eat are vegan meats and meat made of vegans I might go for the meat made of vegans
Luckily I don't have to resort to that so I won'tI could, partly because my wife went vegan for a while and there are great recipes that can camouflage some foods, but not all. Plus, going on a general diet was helpful to get over my cheese and sweets cravings.
Take changes in steps and it won't be so hard.i thought about going vegetarian for some time, but decided against it. but yeah if i can't even be a vegetarian then i'm definitely not going to be a vegan lol. it's already difficult enough for me to get my protein as it is, so this would just make things more complicated for me.
Personally I would not as I've done veganism, keto, Paleo, carnivore. And tbh I was healthiest on a carnivore diet. But since I like salads I went keto. To me the healthiest food you can consume is grass fed, grass finished organic beef so I'd never be vegan again. Besides oils are horrible for the body and lots of those vegan foods are loaded with toxic veggie oils.
I'm with you, with a cavate. I am 'basically' a vegetarian now, but I do eat chicken and fish, but no red meat. I have eaten 'plant based' chili W/O beans and it was delicious.
Not sure I could go the strict VEGAN diet.
I have known one VEGAN and she was so strict about what she ate, I could not follow her diet.I tried it, but due to chronic health issues that frequently have me anemic, I need all the help I can get from eating meat. I've tried other food sources for iron alternatives and iron pills, but I find eating meat more helpful for me. I also like having more options in all food related situations because some places just don't have good vegan options and then it becomes a whole thing
No. Absolutely not. Would you be villing to not being a vegan? And why are vegans and vegetarians are so passive/aggressive and try to convince people that their way of living (eating) is the only right way?
no never, im not retarded, i understand the food chain and its strongest species for itself, thats nature boo, a lion would have no problem mauling you to death, so why should we be nice to these fuckers that would eat us? i mean cows dont but if they had a taste for human i guarentee they would be eatin us, so why should we go against our nature? thats dumb asf, the food chain exists for a reason, whoever or what made it didn't make it by mistake
Not only do I like cheese and meat, I morally disagree with veganism so no. A simple moral food is food even cows eat rabbits and trust me they would eat you if they could, in nature it's very much just eat everything one can. It's how we live.
Why would I eat man-made fake meat when I can go straight to the source from a local farm where animals are treated humanely? Plus my diet is already balanced. I eat grains, vegetables, fish, dairy, meats, fats, et cetera.
I tried plant based meat and the smell is just deadly. I can't. I tried the chicken patties and the hamburgers. Too scared to try the corndogs i bought
I would be willing to try going Vegan I think my health and weight loss would be tremendously better, Thanks for your encouragement for getting people in better health this means a lot to many of us -:) Happy Easter have a Blessed One !!! 👼🙏
I'm definitely not ready to be a vegan. For me it is very difficult. I also love cheese very much and just don't live without pizza. I especially like meilleure pizza montreal . I often come to Montreal to try it. I think it must be a strong ideology in a person's head to refuse such delicious products.
I hate that I can’t because I love animals so much. I couldn’t last more than 14 months as vegetarian before my body crashed. It’s impossible when allergic to soy.
No way!!! I eat almost only meat. Dairies and fruits. And I've never been more healthy.
I'm already vegan but don't do the fake meats since I've never eaten real meat so not something that I miss
Not a fucking hope in hells chance... In fact hell would need to freeze over first.
