But which is your favourite? I like both but tend to buy the cooking kind more.

I bought a Seranno ham for a holiday a few years ago and the family did jot care for it. In the States, Honey Baked Ham is big but I don’t see whats so different about it from a regular ham. Our family will have the regular ham though which is cooked, follwed by ham sandwich left overs.

Prosciutto di Parma has a fragility to it, like a delicate piece of limburger cheese, with its buttery and slightly sweet aroma. It's a taste that is at once familiar and strange, akin to the scent of stinky feet mixed with the pungent odor of hydrogen sulfide gas.
Only like raw ham from New York. ‘Boar’s Head,’ is a fave.
I’ll choose cooked ham. Bacon is good too.
Cooked, but I like both and have both in my fridge all time

I'm not a huge ham fan but when I was in the italian part of switzerland I had a pinse wich is an old form of the pizza with raw ham on it and it was the best raw ham I'd ever had. I tasted so good and fit in so well with the rest of the dish. But raw ham I've had before didn't taste as good as this so usually I don't eat ham a lot.
Cooked for me, although I'm not a big fan of bacon. I like pork roasts instead.
Prosciutto is very popular here in Japan in wine bars, but I've never been a big fan of it. In general, I never liked thin-sliced meat all that much over big hunks of meat.
One of my favorites is Rafute from Okinawa (braised pork belly):
Oops sorry, I just now learned that pork and ham are not the same thing and that ham only refers to pork cut from the hind legs. I still prefer cooked ham in that case and in very thick slices, not thin.
I prefer cooked ham, I do love getting a good gammon, preparing it and making a lovely ham.
I really like prosciutto but it is too expensive to have more than once a year.
Neither. I am not a fan of the physiological effects consuming ham has on the human body on a biological level
Prosciutto is not raw it is salted and dry cured/aged/matured usually for about a year thus why expensive. Cooked hams are usually cured in a brine, then cooked in a hot smoker or are cold smoked and then cooked.
Raw or smoked ham is what I generally choose instinctively. Cooked ham is still better to be mixed in a macaroni or spaghetti dish.
cooked n it has to be cooked well
red/ bloody meat is just too much plus very harmful
As a Jewish person, I am offended you would eat either shitty meat.
But you do you.
I like cooked ham better. I'll eat it hot or cold
It is not raw, it is cured. Humans do not do raw meat well.
Prosciutto is elite stuff😘🤌
I prefer the cooked ones as I find them less chewy
I prefer cooked ham.
I don't eat ham.
Makes no difference I love ham
I’ll always go with cooked ham.
