Let's talk taters. What's your fav'rite?

What's your favorite and what do you put on them?

I might dip my French fries in different things. Usually ketchup. But BBQ sauce if I'm eating BBQ, or tartar sauce if I'm having fish and chips.

What is your favorite kind of fries?

I love mashed potatoes with gravy or with butter, salt and pepper.

I like baked potatoes with the works - butter, sour cream, salt, pepper, bacon bits, chives, and shredded Cheddar cheese.

What is your favorite kind of potato salad?

What about twice baked potatoes? What's your recipe?

I was just now having some taters. I made em again, earlier today. Fried potaters with different dressings, some seasonings. I like to peel and bake my fries sometimes fried. Sometimes I get in the mood for a baked potato, like how you like it. Home fries, like at pizza places, very good oh and the long battreried friesat pizza places are great. I also like to cut the taters up and put em together with the meat and sometimes vegatables in the crockpot or in the oven. My neighbor, a few nights ago, gave me some shepherd's pie, delicious-, I think, that is the best way I mostly like mashed potatoes.

What I like to call scallops, peeled, sliced and then fried in nice round circles have a different feel to chips.

Do I do love a banger and mash, though I like to mix sweetcorn with the mash and drop blobs of ketchup within it and if treating myself, a sprinkle of cheese melted on top, even better if it was made with cream.

Lastly roasties with rosemary, purposely burnt edges and brown all around to give that delicious crunch.

I like to grow them as well.

I'm not biased either... sweet or idaho white, all have their merits.

the only bad one is the ones that are lookin' at ya with their eyes...

Skins the best… nutrition there. Easiest of all items to grow. Got large crop sweet potatoes last year and gave some to neighbors. Started sweet potato slips indoors

We grow sweet potatoes, too. 😃 We've tried regular potatoes but haven't had great success so far. We're still working on it.

I love everything taters... papas asadas being the very best for me...
