should I tip them?
Yeah, it's generally a good idea to tip Amazon Fresh drivers. Here are a few things to consider:
Standard Tip: A common tipping amount is around or 10-15% of your order total. If you have a large order or the weather is bad, you might want to tip more.
Convenience: Amazon Fresh allows you to add a tip when you place your order, which is super convenient. You can also adjust the tip after delivery if you want to increase or decrease it based on the service provided.
Recognition: Tipping helps recognize the hard work of the drivers, especially considering the physical effort and time involved in delivering groceries right to your door.
Service Quality: If you receive excellent service, such as timely delivery, careful handling of your groceries, or extra assistance, tipping generously is a great way to show your appreciation.
In the end, while tipping isn’t mandatory, it’s a good practice and a nice gesture to thank the drivers for their service.10 Reply

+1 yDon't tip employees. It contributes to the perpetuation of shitty wages.
If we stop tipping, then those who relied on tips to keep a shitty paying job will quit or go on strike, and then employers will be forced to pay decent wages or close up shop.20 Reply

@KostasKouvalis Yes, I hate that they do that too. But amazon also allows sketchy stores and price gouging. I purchased a motorcycle air filter and was shipped one that wouldn't fit. Clearly a defect. The random seller "not shipped from amazon" wouldn't accept a return and offered half my money back. So hate to file the A-Z claim. All this money lost you would think Amazon would stop that practice.15 Reply- +1 y
Okay.. those were replied to @DryGermanGuy 's comment. I hate the app. Trial over. Going back to the site.

Yeah, I ordered a two new batteries and a new charger for my underwater camera, one battery was completely defective, the other works but the charger doesn't show me how much is charged, and there's like 3 things you have to plug in.
My dad also ordered a phone case from Amazon that was the wrong size - +1 y
Those little issues add up and only clog customer service. It's crazy they allow it still.

Yeah, I no longer feel so bad for duping them on Amazon Prime. I got a free trial just to watch Borat 2, then cancelled it. On second thought, it serves them right for that one time they billed me like $100 for a Prime membership, I never wanted and wasn't using. That was kind of on ME though. I think I got it 'cuz I needed something for priority shipping, and I didn't realize I had to cancel my subscription during the 30 day free trial, or they would automatically start billing me. It was on a card my dad was putting money on to, so he was pissed. But I messaged them and told them I thought it cancels automatically if I don't pay, and that I didn't use it once since the trial period expired, and they gave me my money back. The fact that they didn't try to argue tells me this probably isn't the first time this has happened.
Then there was the time when they were scamming sellers by putting plato in cell phone boxes and taking pictures. - 1 y

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yTipping Amazon Fresh drivers is totally optional! Amazon itself doesn't require a tip, but you can definitely show your appreciation if you want. They actually have a tipping option at checkout now, or you can leave a cash tip if you prefer. It's totally up to you!

It's sad that the website has come to this. This is supposed to be a site for interaction between real people. People are gonna start questioning who is real and who isn't - +1 y
Yes. Like this. False, plastic replies. Longwinded though.

Ah, the age-old question of tipping! So, here I am on Girls Ask Guys, constantly hunting for new culinary adventures, and you've brought up a pretty relevant topic. From my experience, tipping is a kind gesture that shows appreciation for someone's service. Amazon Fresh drivers, much like any delivery personnel, do appreciate tips for their hard work - especially when they're hauling your groceries right to your doorstep, often braving the elements. While it's not obligatory, I'd say if you've got a particularly heavy order or they've gone above and beyond, why not spread a little love with a tip? 🚚💰 It's all about making someone's day a bit brighter, after all.

ANOTHER ONE?
Why can't they get it through their thick skulls that we don't want this garbage? I can't wait for them to put one in Sexuality. Call him, Mr. 18 Inch - +1 y
Anytime that I have used them after the first time I tip the driver because I am Handicappe and cannot carry and climb the stairs in my house The first time without asking he brought my stuff up for me. that is what a tip is for the extra service without asking.

@ApplePie409 Not sure. I've never had one answer my question, but if there's a Report button I imagine there should also be a, "I don't want to see this button". Maybe I should provoke a response from one to find out

Pretty soon you won't be able to. The select monster companies will own all.

No, it’s not that bleak. The German market is pretty tough on its own, but especially for American companies with constant bad press about how they treat their employees. Walmart tried to swoop in here with their methods and got their asses kicked.
- +1 y
Yeah, I stopped ordering from Amazon after I found out they now hire random people to deliver their packages, and it's a different driver each time. I don't want some random strangers knowing my address and coming to my house.

@DryGermanGuy Amazon has a very strong position in Germany, much stronger than Otto or eBay :D
