Do you tip food delivery drivers?

I used to but I don't anymore, because these jerks won't ring my doorbell despite repeated requests. Also, I am not obligated to subsidize their employer's business model. They make enough as it is. Not my problem.

I got m comeuppance - no food was delivered and my card was charged.

As a general rule I don't tip them, but today I gave them an $8.00 tip, but the food was awesome and no complaint about Pizza Station today. Lol

I give about 20%, +/- 5%... whatever makes it an even multiple of $5

If they didn't ring the doorbell I'd complain, for sure, but I tip them because all of them around here ring the doorbell, wait until you show up, text you to let you know they're on the way and put the food in your hand. That's worth a tip for me so the raccoons don't run off with my sushi.

I have complained repeatedly with no result. They throw it on my doormat and leave - that's it.

That's so F'ed. Those tips add up... no reason to be so angry about a voluntary job. If it sucks so much go back to cashier or whatever else you were beforehand. No boss, make your own hours, what are you mad about?

I order maybe once every 2 months and im way too broke to tip. But I'd love to give a big tip when my company starts if its will work

I don't get food delivered. If I'm in Germany, I cook for myself, if I'm in London, it's a few minutes walk.
