On the one hand, you're going to get a new car. On the other, you've got to put up with sales people and paperwork. What are your thoughts?
Well, I have an open mind to it as more of a look but no touch kind of approach right now. Just finished paying off my car not too long ago, so I will need to make a purchase of one later at some point.
Been looking at other dealers. Dodge has been great for me so far as a first time buyer, but am considering Toyota. The big thing I will be looking at is how the eventual introduction of electric vehicles will be priced as well as pushed. Last thing I want is to buy another gas one and then all of a sudden it is illegal to have and I can't drive. I will only do electric as a last resort.

No. Its not hate. Its frustrating. You can have 2 vehicles. 1st one has_, _, _ options and 2nd has _, _, _ options. Like them both but they don't have one that has all the options or a combo of that you can comprise. Because usually the options i want together on a vehicle they don't have.
Example: Dodge Durango. The Hemi engine. Has both standard and automatic transmission. I dislike the paddles on steering wheel to shift gears in standard mode. Can't get one thats full auto unless its a V6. The HEMI V8 only comes with both.
I love it especially if I'm just looking around and not being to serious about buying. Back last December I got a new car but took me months to find so I was going everywhere around town chatting up the car sales people then just walking away knowing I wasted their time 😂
I don’t. I did this year and it was very stressful especially with all the “ market adjustment fee” bullshit. I needed a car ASAP so I wasn’t even able to get the car that I wanted.

Yes I really like car shopping. It’s deciding what type you want, go with another sports coupe type, a sports estate, RWD or AWD, then the colour and the options, as a tech geek and petrol head I have a list of must haves and those get added.
I also love that new car smell and feel. I tend to keep cars 5-7 years and buy new with a big discount. Recently went car shopping with my sister as she needs to move up from her early learnt to drive cars to a proper car (larger engine, more tech, more 💶💶 lol)If i have enough money than yes i'd like to buy something new, back from 4 years i had enough money to buy a range rover sport supercharged but i want a new grand cherokee model 2015 but i changed my mind and kept the money now i can't even buy one of it'a tires cause of what happened to my country's economy...
Still happy with my renault megane classic mod 2002 😌I enjoy shopping for vehicles, I typically go back to the same spot. I think I am all done for awhile though. I just got my Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro not to long ago.
Car shopping is a walk in the park for me & when it comes to a sale if the dealership wants my business they better speak my language as they say if not I’ll will take a walk in the park. Car shopping although it could be a hassle I like it & I usually fine it easy.
After we agree on a prize I piss them off when I pull out my credit card & checkbook because they assume I’m going to take out a loan & I end up paying cash.
I’m not stupid.
Its definitely fun because a car is almost like a buying a pet 😭 minus the life in it. A sayin also between men is that a car is your 2nd wife in life. So I don't know to you but wouldn't you want a cute clean car and maybe you color it with your favorite color and add some tech inside.. Etc
I hate car shopping. I thought when I finally made enough money to be able to afford buying a car outright and not financing it would get easier but it doesn't. Because most people finance and that one of the ways salesmen use to get money out of you. They actually don't want you buying a car outright.
I absolutely hate it, especially because more often than not they will not accept cash. They dont make much if you pay cash for a car, There is this place where im from that basically told me that if i wanted to pay cash i would pay 10k more than sticker. Nah I will buy cars person to person, but fuck dealerships.
I'm too poor to enjoy something like that. I happen to be looking for a car right now, but it's stressful trying to find something decent that I can afford.
Love it. Late last year I bought a $30,000 Mitsubishi Outlander, and it's perfect, the best car I've ever had :)
I'm 42 and I've only bought two cars ever. Hate car shopping
I mean, it's fun test driving and all that but, the process SUCCKKSSS
it's fine, if you know how the game is played it really isn't a big deal.
It is a pain. I try to only do it every 12-15 years.
I like having a car, but the actual process of buying one? No, that doesn't do anything for me.
I don't like going to dealerships looking for cars. i did it once when I got my wife a car for her birthday. I always buy from private owners
Car shopping is like no other. The excitement of buying a car is like an orgasm and the car salesman is like waking up realizing it's a dream and all you're left with is a sticky mess.
I hate it. If I have to buy one I will go through a broker.
I hate paperwork !
That's why I love car shopping in the parking area of Walmart 💀
Yes and no. I like the shopping part... but it tends to lead to the buying part.
High pressure sales tactics suck
