Girls, having guys walk you out to your car?

So there's like this girl at the place I work. its on a busy street and we share a parking lot with a lot of other businesses and there's a huge shopping center across the street, the parking lot is also well lit and there is usually a lot of people around even at night. So this girl asked me to walk her out to her car, I kind of thought it was unnecessary but of course I did it. We talk a lot at work but I don't really know if I would say its like flirting. of course she loves to talk about relationships in front of me and drops subtle hints I think to find out if I'm single (like asking what I'm getting my girlfriend for valentine's etc.) So was this a way for her to walk and talk with me or is it a legit safety thing?

I'm almost positive she's into you, or just wants to talk to you at least. Most girls don't feel like they need protection in an area like you described unless they went through some major traumatic event which I seriously doubt is the case. &&To what you said below, I in no way find it offensive, I think it's polite and along with other things should be appreciated more =]

O, cool lol, I should mention that a girl got kidnapped and killed at location just a block away a while ago so a lot of people are kinda paranoid now. there's another girl who's parents make her walk out with some1, I don't know if she actualy needed it but whenever she asked I would.

Oh hahaha. First, I'm sorry for that girls family and that's a completely horrible situation so that's not what I'm laughing at, but I still vote that she's into / wants to talk to you more.

Yea hope so because I'm totally into her 2, I didn't talke to her much during work because we don't get a lot of down time there, I was kinda dissappointed that I wasn't going to get to talk to her but we chatted a little in the break room afterwards and I was really happy she asked me to walk her out.

I think its a somewha legit concern, I normally offer to walk girls to their cars/cab/bus/home mainly because it was ingrained in me as a teenager and honestly I would feel guilty if somethign did happen. I mean the chances are pretty low, but there's always the what if right?

Yea, I almost never offer thought, I kinda worry that some girls might be offended by it, like they moght take it as "o, I'm a strongguy and women are weak and helpless who need my protection" I figure that if feel uneasy theyll just ask.

Meh I am the strong guy and women should apprecaite the offer of protection. I think female/male equality has its place, but at the point logic overrules it has been taken to far. I mean women continually complain how guys of our generation need to "man up" and yet we are continually demasculated because we are essentially taught that women don't need us for anything. I've yet to have a girl be offended by it, I ve had the "oh you don't have to do that" in which case I insist.
