For those who live in California, How much does a restaurant hostess could earn?

I was told restaurants hostess in California, their salaries are not very high. Is that true or on what depends? What about a restaurant hostess in Los Angeles working in a chic restaurant.

Well they raised the minimum wage of fast food workers to 20$ an hour.




I’m not sure if that applies to strictly fast food or the entire food industry.




This is also not factoring in tips. Note tips paid in cash (unless documented on tabs) aren’t taxed.

From my understanding some if not most restaurants split the tips waiters/waitresses make, amongst all the restaurant staff. But not all restaurants do that
