For sure. Actually, friend and I swap a coupe if our best pies at Thanksgiving just so i can get one of the pecan pies. (My two good ones are chestnut and cherry. Hers are pecan and apple.)

I’ve tried pecan pie, but I took the pecans off the top. I don’t like nuts. I did like the flavor of the pie, and I’ve had it more than once. But it’s just not my favorite.

I'm from Philly where we say Pee can pie. It's my favorite pie. Now live in Texas where they call it Pah Kahn pie. They sound retarded but the same pie somehow is better down here.
