I've never been tempted to give them a try because I consider cartilage as something you don't eat. But there's plenty of pig ear recipes out there, so have you tried pig's ear?
Please no Trump references, let's keep it civil.

Just between me and this question content and nobody else-
I never ate and I think it’s wrong for anyone to eat the head of any animal or the heart. It seems psychologically wrong. Even if you’re not starving. Even if starving, I’d hope it’d be last resort.
Like to look at the face of the dead animal and just be like “I’m gonna eat you now.” As they’re lifeless is so disturbing. Eating any other part seems at least respectful of mindful of it. It doesn’t FEEL like eating a living think when you behold shredded chicken meat on a plate or strips of bacon. But a whole head or face? Ears? Come onnn.
So sad people have eaten pigs tongue, cow tongue, and I believe octopi brains. It made me confused like- are you trying to French kiss the animal? Why are you eating its mouth? So disturbing.
And the brain of an octopus? Is it really necessary? So saddening.
And to even eat FISH EGGS. We just went somewhere into the sea and collected those. Eating them by the hundreds. I’ll never in my life, understand it.
Nope. Maybe in some sausage for sure but not intentionally
Many times. In the form of something called scrapple. It is popular in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and other areas. It’s our Christmas breakfast.

Sounds similar to what we in the UK call brawn.
this one is a very interesting one...
ear & calamari tacos...

You know, diving into the world of unique flavors and textures is kind of my jam, and pig ears definitely tick those boxes! I've had the chance to try pig ears a couple of times. Once they were sliced thin, fried to a crisp, and served with a spicy dipping sauce, another time they were braised and then chilled, served in a salad with a vinegary dressing. The contrast between the crispy skin and the chewy texture of the cartilage can be quite a treat if you're open to it. It's one of those dishes that might seem out there at first, but it's a great example of how diverse culinary practices can get. Plus, it's always fun to explore dishes that utilize parts of an animal that might otherwise go to waste. Give it a go if you're feeling adventurous! 🍴😊
Are you trying to make them want a real body now are you doing this?

I've never eaten pig ears, but my dog loves them... dried pig ears... she can finish one off in under a minute, eats them like we humans eat potato chips/crisps.
I'm from the Southern U. S. and we quite regularly feed them to dogs or Northerners who come down here looking for a cultural experience.
No, and I probably never will consume ears, whether from pigs or from similar species and people, considering the decent quantity of decent things available to eat ;0)
Must have had when I was a kid. By choice nowadays… haven’t had for a long long time.
they are okay I used to like the crunchiness when chewing.
No, but my former dogs in the past loved pig years
No I've never had it. I did try pickled pigs feet and it was gross
I do t eat pork do I don’t know what people think I’m missing
I've eaten it a lot with my Chinese relatives. It's ok, mostly just chewy meat with sauce. Nothing to write home about.
The white part in the middle is the hardest part.
Pigs are the most unhygienic animals on earth and you must never eat them. This is why a few religions don't do so.
Myth. They're actually very clean animals
they eat shit and wallow in the mud
You must have never bee in situations where there was no food to eat.
Yes. there's a dish called "Sisig" which is a face of a pig including snot and ears chopped up and the ears gives it a really nice and uniquely crunchy texture.
They dry those and sell them for dog chew toys here. Only penniless dirt farmers eat pig ears.
the last time I had pig ears was in 1995 when my mom cooked them...
I've had pig feet, pigtails and shitlins. Even pork belly.
Never tried them. Mostly see them as smoked and sold as dog chews.
Yeah it is the wax that is hard to stomach…. lol
I used to get them for my dog.
He loved them.
No, we give them to the dogs though.
Never tried them before.
I don't know it's very likely knowing me 😆
Nooo never have you and if so are they good
Yeah
