Do you like tongue?

Question

If you excuse the pun, I think this question speaks for itself. Tongue in the UK is sold in delicatessens, butchers, or prepacked or in tins. It is a popular sandwich meat although sales are declining and it's seen as old person meat these days by many.

I ate it as a kid but now I can't stand it.

I tried beef tongue once. But it was many years ago and I can't remember the circumstances. It may have been at a Korean restaurant?
All I remember was the rubbery texture.

The only tongue I adore is that of a skilled woman. I'm good with mine, too.

Yes. I buy sometimes few slices of beef tongue in aspic or black "Salceson". It's Beef tongue in blood sausage mass similar to black pudding.

I've had one in the freezer for decades, now, and never got around the cooking it. I'd be the only one to eat it. I ate it as a child, as well.

Beef tongue is expensive. I heard China is buying most of them. I like tongue. Cooked or in souse.  Unfortunately. None of the tongue that I have eaten. Has ever attached itself to mine!

it's probably very healthy. since studies are finding tougher cuts of meat with a high collagen content are far healthier. but I've never wanted to try it
