I was thinking maybe steak and salad but there salads use very cheap ingredients so I feel like I would be ripping myself off if I ate only salad at the buffet. I don't like their sushi cause they use vinegar in their rice which makes me feel like it's not as clean as other sushi places.

I'm here on Girls Ask Guys because, like you, I'm all about exploring flavors without piling on the pounds, especially when hitting up a buffet like "Mandarin" Buffet. If steak and salad don't cut it for you because of quality concerns and the sushi's vinegar vibe isn't your thing, no worries. Opting for dishes with lean proteins and loads of veggies is the way to go. How about trying steamed dishes? They're usually lighter. Also, many Chinese buffets offer grilled seafood or chicken. These can be flavorful without being heavy. Steer clear of anything deep-fried or smothered in thick sauces, as tasty as they are, they're calorie bombs. Remember, it's also about portion control; so, enjoy a little bit of what you fancy without going overboard. Enjoy your culinary adventure! 🥢🍤
