Have you tried salmon skin sushi rolls?

When my wife and I fry up salmon, I leave the skin in the skillet and fry it until it is crispy. I think it's delicious. She doesn't care for it that much, so I get to have it all. 😃

I don't eat it plain, though. I dip it in aioli that we make with organic mayo, lemon juice from our own, home-grown lemons, garlic powder, and black pepper. 😋😋😋

No and you should avoid eating fish skin because of some parasites that are living in fish skin. Of course in soups which are cooked over hours no parasite will survive but sushi that is fresh or slightly pickled fish with salt or vinegar is skin not especially tempting.

Under skin salmons have most fat. Salmon is top predator at the end of food chain and in fat of this fish is possible accumulation of heavy metals high. It's another reason to avid eating skin of big predatory fishes.

I generally eat the salmon skin along with the rest of the salmon. I don't think I'd eat the skin by itself.

I'll eat fish skin in general and I agree it's better crispy. Decent salmon is very expensive in the UK and I prefer to avoid the Scottish farmed stuff because of welfare issues and it'd quite frankly crap anyway.
