To be fair, not really one for "creative food". Be it restaurants that try and be creative with "no plates" trend, to food looking like other things - i. e. the "everything is cake" trend.

In the case of coffee and shakes, it's about justifying the cost. You can buy a weeks worth of decent coffee for the price of one at these places. But if the experience is your thing then it has value to you.

It looks cool but it looks also like a waste of time and material. It’s gonna melt soon and I wouldn’t want the water of the ice to directly affect my tea/coffee. Diluting it somehow more than JUST the small cubes in a regular drink.

Exactly. Such stuff also manage to make me cringe. It is just not for me. I also don't like fancy restaurants with those mini size foods. The way people act there feels like level 6 torture. 🤣
