What do you Americans do with all those candy/other treats y'all collect from trick or treat?

My kids will select a few pieces they would like to keep and the rest we donate to a church group that collects the candy and ships it to our troops wherever they happen to be.

My kids eat a few pieces a day, plus also share with mom and dad 😁 the candies nobody wants to eat, I put in the break room at work lol

We ate them. But you kind of age out of trick-or-treating when you hit 12 or 13 - some people won't even give candy to older kids. It's pretty unusual for kids much older than that to be out getting candy.
