What food tastes like is much more important to me than what it looks like. French cuisine is well known for its presentation, and I often starve eating it.

Yeah usually pastries of some kind. cookies with elaborate icing ontop, cakes. makes you feel bad to eat it wrecking its aesthetic beauty lol

Yes i once bought squid rings, they were in a row (one row!) with colored sautee vegetables in the ring. Very pleasing but not worth the 70$.
