But which looks the best?
Which of these British Christmas dinners looks the best?
But which looks the best?
lol now I know that you’re joking because they have a bad reputation in England for the worst food all around and I’ve been there before no taste just bland boring no taste no good ingredients no spices no sweetness even their American franchise McDonald’s is crap. All your food is garbage and I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but I’ve been there to London, England and they make lousy piña coladas too. It’s a beautiful country side England and I like the city of London, England, but it’s just not good the food France is so much better and America is the best and Italy is good food to because I’ve been there. But I didn’t eat at an Italian restaurant in London, England by all the opera houses were they cast Phantom of the opera the opera sections Play housesand it was pretty good the spaghetti meatballs, not the best but it was nice. That was the only good meal that I had in London England, the rest was a complete waste of money its like I was biting into food, but it had no taste at all. I did love the Phantom of the opera that was very classy. First class. It was beautiful. I loved it and we all dressed up nice and I had a nice suit on very classy but the food is just I don’t understand why you guys are so behind the eight ball. 🎱 you probably don’t understand that expression. It’s an American expression behind the eight ball. That’s a pool game. I hope the pictures in your question are a joke because that looks like real cheap crappy stuff like a dollar store that they would sell you because we have dollar stores in America you can buy most items for a $dollar apiece a lot of stuff for a dollar
Most people here would agree London food is over priced low quality tourist crap
@Iron_Man You're mistaken about England. Stop being silly and holding onto preconceptions; I'm from England, which boasts some of the world's greatest chefs and a diverse cuisine. I wish the OP would just concentrate on her own country. Britain is not a country; there are countries within it, and they have their own cultures, and guess what? Their own cuisines.
The Scottish one at least looks like a person prepared it rather than the food being chopped up and spat out by machines, so I'll go with that one.
Everyone thinks their own food is the best in the world. I heard that food is expensive in England. I feel for you all about that, as that sucks. But there is something enchanting about the thought of a cold, traditional, white Christmas, with roasts and lovely desserts.
I think I would sooner settle for a "cheese and tomato sandwich" than insult my tastebuds and stomach sampling any of those choices.
How about your goodself @purplepoppy
The Scottish box looks tempting
I do tend to agree with you @purplepoppy
Your description of British Christmas dinners brings back fond memories of a festive roast I once enjoyed. The sight of a golden-browned turkey with crispy roast potatoes, vibrant Brussels sprouts, and sweet carrot batons captures the essence of a British Christmas feast. Don't forget the gravy pouring over everything and the small mountain of stuffing. The iconic Christmas pudding for dessert, dense with fruit and spices, completes this tantalizing sight. The comforting flavor of mince pie, warmed by the festive season, adds to this hearty spread. Each dish contributes to the distinct charm of a British holiday gathering, making it quite the sight to behold. 🎄🍗

I'm hoping the Scottish takeaway is loaded with haggis.
I... I have nothing nice to say about how un appetizing the meals look here...
Played golf with a Scot today
Out of those options , I will do the Scottish take away.
I'll go for the Scots, surprised it isn't battered and deep fried
Scottish take-away, not as nice as the community lunch I get delivered, it includes Christmas pud although with custard,,,
I'll go with the Scottish Take Away dinner (= but they all look good.
Why do people in the British isles still eat like it's the Great depression
I would try all that stuff
You forgot to give us the option 'none'.
The first one looks evil.
You’re kidding right
Ouch :D
Scottish take away
