I certainly wouldn't risk this being a "steak".
We have one particular food store in town that is very tricky in what they call which "meat" that they sell. They also hide the small side down, stick the fatty side of every cut on the bottom, etc. They are just the type of store that might call this a Spanish Pene Steak.
